Jamie Oliver: I'd 'happily' go on Bake Off
Jamie Oliver says he would be interested in appearing on The Great British Bake Off after it moves to Channel 4.
Speaking to Sarah Brett and Nihal Arthanayake on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 live's Afternoon Edition he said he hadn't been approached by the programme makers but he would be interested in appearing on the show. He said:
"If my diary was free I'd definitely give it a little look, but not as a regular contributor, but I'd happily go on as a one off and I would get massive cred from that from my kids."
The TV chef went on to say that it would be a shame if current judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood weren't involved after the move to Channel 4, and that he thinks the show is "in good hands."
The new series of Jamie's Super Food starts on Channel 4 on Friday 23rd September. This clip is from Afternoon Edition on Wednesday 20 September.
