Mark Wood from Cornwall received thousands of messages of support from around the world, after appealing for people to join him for his 18-year-old dog, Walnut鈥檚, last walk before he鈥檚 put down. Mark told 5 live:

鈥淲e have a really good community spirit here, I see people on the beach... (they ask) how鈥檚 Charlie, how鈥檚 Walnut? I thought do you know what, I鈥檓 always on my own, always really early in the morning, why not share a moment?鈥�
