Uppingham Bus Route, Drink Driving Warning & What We Learnt This Week

Start your day with the latest news and updates, with Jim and Jo at breakfast.

You have 12 months to make sure you use it - or you will lose it. That's the message for people in East Leicestershire and Rutland this morning, after councils put up emergency money to keep a local bus service running.

It's sadly become a seasonal fixture - the annual "Drink Drive" campaign. We see them, but do we really take notice? Well Martin Flanagan, from Measham, is aware every single day of the consequences of someone making the wrong decision. He tells us the story, of how his daughter was killed by a man who did choose to drink and drive.

And for the final time this year, we head to St Bartholomew's Primary School in Quorn, to see what they've been learning this week.
