Tourists pay for Edinburgh beggar to spend Christmas with them in Sweden
A beggar on the streets of Edinburgh was treated to an incredible act of generosity by two tourists, when they took him to Sweden for Christmas.
Jimmy Fraser was begging on George Street when he was approached by Annis Lindkvist and her sister Emma. They swapped numbers before the sisters got him a passport and paid for his flights so he could spend Christmas with them and their family.
Jimmy told 5 live Drive it was 鈥渦nbelievable it actually did happen. It really was amazing.鈥
Jimmy had two Christmas dinners whilst he was there and has been invited back in Easter.
