Artists Adam Pendleton and Julie Mehretu on their quest to breathe life back into Nina Simone's childhood home in North Carolina.
Conceptualist Adam Pendleton, abstract painter Julie Mehretu, sculptor and painter Rashid Johnson, and filmmaker Ellen Gallagher, paid 拢95,000 for the house in 2017, which they hope to preserve as an important historical site.
