Stadium

From friendships formed to partners left behind, Stadium looks at why ‘the beautiful game’ is just so beautiful. Three teams, many voices - all with absolute passion for the game.

The drama of theatre meets the thrill of football in Stadium. Featuring real stories as told by Birmingham City, Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion fans, their extraordinary memories and unconditional love for their teams come under the spotlight in this unique and memorable show.

Exploring football versus theatre, team rivalry, mascots, relationships made and friendships lost, Stadium features interviews and insights, music and songs from local fans and inspirational supporters.

Acclaimed French director Mohamed El Khatib explores all aspects of fandom in Birmingham Repertory Theatre’s production, where fans unite to share their highs, their lows and the many funny, surprising and sometimes heartbreaking stories that accompany the game.
