Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac has a new book out. To mark the band鈥檚 50th anniversary year it鈥檚 an autobiography driven largely by photographs with accounts from him and members of the band its primary focus is on the Peter Green era of Fleetwood Mac between 1967-1974, emerging from the British blues boom. It鈥檚 been made with Genesis Publications and published in a numbers limited edition of 2,000 copies. There鈥檚 an exclusive 7鈥 vinyl picture disc as well which includes, 'Love That Burns' from the 1968 Mr Wonderful Album and a rare instrumental track, first recorded in February 1967, titled 'Fleetwood Mac' from which the band took its name.

The book features tales of Mick鈥檚 Youth, being sent off by his parents to London aged 15 with his drum kit to live with his sister and pursue music, touring with BB King, how Rod Stewart introduced him to having his clothes tailor-made and a hair-raiser of a night supporting The Grateful Dead in New Orleans when the band avoided the famous drug bust because they couldn鈥檛 find their way back to the hotel after the audience and band at the gig had been spiked with psychedelic drugs.
