Worcester based Liberty Artillery formed in 2015 as a two-piece drum/bass combo with MC vocals.

Within three months, they'd evolved into a five-piece guitar, bass, drums, twin-vocal collective!

With a wide range of urban and modern influences, the Liberty Artillery sound has been allowed to develop organically and has been described by Slap Magazine as a 'fresh and invigorating masterpiece'.

The band met under unusual circumstances - while attending antenatal classes!

However, two of the members used to be part of - which sadly folded after their . This has been their first public appearance since.

Andrew Marston described their performance at the Worcester Music Festival as: "A band with energy and attitude that rocked Worcester from its foundations".

Dealing with tinnitus

Dealing with tinnitus
It takes many forms, and for many people, it takes over every element of the sufferer's life.

It's the condition which experts say affects most of us, but is Tinnitus (a constant ringing in the ears) making your life a misery?

It sounds different for everyone - from a low hissing听to a constant high pitch whine.

In the news recently has been the story of , a retired firefighter who took his own life because of the condition and the British Tinnitus Association are running a campaign called ''.听We hear from Kathleen Hill, from Kidderminster, who's a prolific campaigner on hearing issues and is deaf. We'll also speak to tinnitus sufferer Tom Dixon, who's an audiologist from the Worcester Hearing Centre.

Track of the Week

Track of the Week
This week, we hear from 16-year-old Chloe Elliot who'll be helping us to switch on this year's Christmas Lights in Worcester.

The Stourport musician says "I've been singing since I can remember, can be usually found attached to a guitar or piano and am working hard to share my music with the world."

Influenced by Jake Bugg, Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran and John Mayer, we can't wait to welcome her to the Guildhall Stage on Thursday 23 November!

大象传媒 Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival

大象传媒 Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival
This annual festival was first staged in 2008 by Chris Bennion, who produces Worcestershire Sauce.

He set up a website called NotJustSauce - aiming to put Worcester on the map musically.

It's been dubbed as Worcester's version of SXSW in Texas!

Taking place in around multiple venues across the city, from pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes to historic buildings, river cruisers, record shops, on the streets and even in breweries, the festival is absolutely free to attend with hundreds of gigs to choose from from some of the best, new and emerging artists in the UK.

Robert Plant at 大象传媒 Maida Vale

Robert Plant at 大象传媒 Maida Vale
No stranger to Maida Vale, Kidderminster's Robert Plant first played there with Led Zeppelin back in 1969.

Fast forward some 48 years, Robert's eleventh studio album, Carry Fire, is out this month and re-unites him with the Sensational Space Shifters.

The band now includes fiddling folk star Seth Lakeman, who joins them for this performance.

Ukuleles!

Ukuleles!
It's an instrument made famous by George Formby, but it seems that more people than ever are taking up the ukuleles!

There are groups all over the world dedicated to playing and listening to ukulele music - and the best one in Britain is based here!

Worcester Ukulele Club is the 14th greatest in the world, according to the American website , which says it "boasts being the template for an established and organized ukulele group".

Around 60 people now show up to their weekly practice sessions at the Fownes Hotel on a Monday evening.
