The Reading goalkeeper Vito Mannone knows how important squad confidence is.

After a run of seven games without a win, Mannone knows a victory could change the whole squad's perspective on this current run of form.

"The abilities are there, it's just the mental part," Mannone told 大象传媒 Radio Berkshire's Jack Winstanley. "In the delicate moments of the game we need to be much better.

"When you lose confidence...you don't pass the ball around as well as we did in the first part of the season or last year.

"The only way out is the work, we need to work hard and work for one another."
