Leominster's Lily Dooner has always had a head for lyrics and it wasn't long before she started writing her own poetry and short stories.

When she was 16, she decided to pick up the guitar and the two passions of storytelling and music came together.

Armed with a catalogue of raw and honest songs, with subjects ranging from love and heartache to politics and morality, Lily recorded her first collection of tracks in 2017.

大象传媒 Music Introducing in Bromsgrove
This month's sessions were recorded at the Artrix in Bromsgrove.

The centre is not just an award winning place to see live music in Bromsgrove, but it also hosts live screenings, comedy, theatre, dance, visual arts and film - and to give you an insight into the sheer amount of choice it provides to Bromsgrove and the surrounding towns, earlier in the day it hosted a Baby Rave - where Cbeebies meets '90s dance!

Last year, they were awarded Worcestershire's Best Theatre Venue and welcomed more than 27,000 visitors to their 300-seat auditorium, studio space, cafe, meeting rooms, play area and galleries.

Blind pianist

Blind pianist
She's never let being blind hold her back, and now a student at New College Worcester has been offered a place at Oxford to study music.听

18-year-old Zoe Dixon is already an accomplished pianist and award winning composer.

We meet Zoe and her teachers on this week's show.
