SUNDAY GARDENING EVENTS
SUNDAY 24th JUNE
Chambers Farm Flowers are a family cut flower farm in Mardenhave an open day from 12-4pm. They'll be opening the doors to the public (free of charge) to let people find out more growing seasonal British cut flowers with organic and sustainable methods. This open day is part of British Flowers Week celebrations and should be a lovely family day out.

They've got local stall holders, plant sales, guided tours, mini workshops, a very talented face painter, raffle in aid of Demelza House, hog roast, tea and cake, prosecco, pimms and of course FLOWERS!

Goudhurst Open Gardens in aid of the Hospice in the Weald have three very different gardens open in Goudhurst from 10:30am to 4:30pm. 拢5 entry with children free. The gardens are all in easy walking distance of each other and there is ample off-road parking signposted on the A262.
The gardens have offer different features, steep slopes, ponds. small intimate spaces and some wide vistas, meadows and even a beach!!
There are also a variety of arts and craft activities including flowers arranging, a choir, 'live sculpture' from local artist Martin Brockman, Jazz in the garden and more!
We also have a produce stall, a plant sale, Pimms tent, teas, and homemade cakes not to mention an excellent tombola with some great prizes donated by local businesses.
All of the proceeds will go to the Hospice in the Weald.

The Plant Fairs Roadshow comes to Hall Place and Gardens on Bourne Road, Bexley between 10 and 3. Admission is free and you can get your hands on some of the best plants for your garden. They have a number of exciting nurseries joining them including Chelsea exhibitors Daisy Roots (2nd Gold Medal this year) and Plantbase. Lots of exciting plants plus our own Plant Doctor, who can answer your questions and happy to be used as a 'personal shopper' for 'right plants for the right place'.

The Faversham Society have 36 open gardens today across the town - tickets are available from the Faversham Society Museum, on the market and there's also a fabulous garden market with pots and plants from 10 until 5.

MONDAY 25th JUNE
The Island Greenfingers Club have their next meeting at 7.30 pm. In St.Peters Church Hall, Hopeville Avenue, St.Peters, BROADSTAIRS, CT10 2TR.
The speaker is John Mills, topic; ' LIFE inside PRISON'.

Kingsdown Garden Society have their next monthly meeting at 7.45 pm at Kingsdown and Ringwould School in Glen Road Kingsdown.
Malcolm Withnall will be giving a talk on water management in the garden.
Members are free and visitors for a 拢2 charge are welcome to join us.

TUESDAY 26th JUNE
Strood Gardening Club meet at 1.30pm at Strood Working Mens' Club, North Street, Strood
The topic is to be "A Flower Arranging Demonstration" and the speaker is Irene Filmer.
Non members are welcome to come along at a charge of 拢3 - which includes tea and biscuits!

WEDNESDAY 27th JUNE
Ightham and District Gardeners Club have a talk on "Chislehurst Caves" - the speaker is Rod Legear at Ightham Village Hall at 7.30pm
Visitors are very welcome.

THURSDAY 28th JUNE
The North Tonbridge Flower Arrangers will be running a workshop in The Medway Hall, The Angel Centre, Tonbridge. The doors will be open from 7:00pm for a 7:30 start.
If you'd like to meet new friends, learn a new skill, or just practise a not so new one, with excellent advice available, whilst eating scrumptious cake, with refreshing cups of tea or coffee, and chatting to friends, then do come along. Floristry items will be available for purchase from our well-stocked sales table so don't worry if you feel there are things that you may need but don't have.

Visitors are very welcome - The entrance fee is 拢10.00

SATURDAY 30th JUNE
Lullingstone Castle & The World Garden hold a Fire Engine Rally on Saturday and Sunday between 11 and 5 - it's 拢10 per adult and children under 15 are free. There'll be 20 fire engines on site from the Victorian and Edwardian eras right up to the present day.

SUNDAY 1st JULY
At Hernhill Open Gardens, near Faversham there will be 10 gardens and an allotment open for the day from 11am to 6pm.
Some of the gardens are planning children's activities and there will also be refreshments and plants for sale. Programmes will be available on the day from the gardens at 拢5 per adult and 拢1 for children from 4 to 16. Proceeds from programme sales will be divided equally between Hernhill Horticultural Society and the Dawes Community Association.
