Do probiotics need closer regulation?
There鈥檚 growing evidence that the microbes living in our intestines communicate with our brain, and can influence our mood. So-called probiotic products that claim to treat or even cure stress and depression are readily available but some scientists are urging caution. Ted Dinan, professor of psychiatry at University College Cork, spoke to Manuela Saragosa.
