Ken Hom: How I made the British embrace Chinese cooking
The Chinese-American cook, Ken Hom, sprung to fame in the early 1980s with a TV series on the 大象传媒. But although he'd achieved success running a catering school in California, he had never been in front of a camera before. Despite his nerves, the show became an instant hit. Ken tells Emily Thomas how it changed the way the British public thought about food.
