'Coronavirus testing target is political, rather than clinical'
The president of the group representing NHS scientists and laboratory staff has told ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live that the UK government's coronavirus testing target is "political, rather than clinical".
The UK government has pledged to do 100,000 coronavirus tests a day by the end of April.
Allen Wilson, from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences told Nicky Campbell that "this [coronavirus] test is only appropriate when people are symptomatic".
