Burnley captain Ben Mee - 'Our daughter was born 16 weeks prematurely in lockdown'
Burnley captain Ben Mee has told ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 5 Live Breakfast how he and his wife have experienced a "rollercoaster" of emotions during lockdown after their daughter was born 16 weeks early.
Speaking to Rachel Burden, he how initially they were only allowed to visit baby Olive separately in the hospital because of precautions during the Covid-19 pandemic but that she was now making good progress and able to have her mask off for the first time.
The 30-year-old defender’s seen his profile grow rapidly in the last couple of weeks after he condemned the Burnley fans who organised for a ‘White Lives Matter’ banner to be flown over the Etihad Stadium prior to their game with Manchester City.
