Bringing people together from our different cultures and communities in Suffolk.

This week we reflect on an LGBTQ+ webinar run by Ipswich and Suffolk Council for Racial Equality and hear the amazing words from Tiyah Jean, who shares she identify and her hopes for our society. We delve into the world of athletics and we talk to Duarnte, who is a black athlete living here in Suffolk. He shares his thoughts and feelings about the stereo types around being a black athletics.

The More Than Mum programme, designed to give new options and opportunities for mums reclaim their identity, marks its latest cohort success at their recent awards event, so we hear from some of the Women involved in the programme and the changes they have seen in their lives as a result of being involved.

We also talk about safe spaces when watching football and the challenges of being intimidated or not welcomed in some of the more mainstream sports bars.

Lastly the Windrush Select Committee talk about their very special Windrush Exhibition, being held at the HOLD Suffolk records office.
