Midwives come together in Ipswich to share concerns
Midwives have been urging the government to take action for what they're calling a "maternity crisis" by demonstrating in public places. Some took part in a demonstration on the Cornhill in Ipswich.
The Department of Health says there are more midwives working in the NHS now than at any other time in its history.

A Department for Health and Social Care spokesperson said: "Midwives do an incredibly important job and we know how challenging it has been for those working during the pandemic.
