Meet Phillip Stoneman...
Phil (often lovingly referred to by his colleagues as 'Biscuit Phil') can normally be found at the heart of the 大象传媒 Hereford & Worcester studios, crafting jingles and audio nonsense for the radio, in addition to creating clips and podcasts for 大象传媒 Sounds.
Life behind the microphone started with student radio for Phil, at the University Of Warwick's RaW 1251AM. He has also been at community radio stations in East Devon and Birmingham's hospital radio station, BHBN Radio. At the 大象传媒, Phil has produced shows at all hours of the schedule, from 大象传媒 Asian Network, 大象传媒 CWR, 大象传媒 Radio WM, 大象传媒 Radio Shropshire and 大象传媒 Hereford & Worcester.
Phil has a passion for championing Herefordshire & Worcestershire's finest creatives - and indeed those all over the West Midlands - at and 大象传媒 Upload. If you're reading this and aren't familiar, check them out!
It's unclear where the love of sweet, crumbly snacks started for Phil, but over the years has developed a fondness for baking his own shortbread. He has a regular supply of biscuits in his office, divided amongst five tins (at the last count).
Phil lives in Bromgsrove, Worcestershire, and grew up in Devon. He is proud to call the area of Herefordshire & Worcestershire his adopted home. If he's not baking biscuits himself, or at the radio station, he'll be sunning himself at Symonds Yat, Hergest Ridge or the Lickey Hills.
