GCSE results: Grading returns to pre-pandemic norm
It's nailbiting times for GCSE students in England getting their results today.
The Department of Education says this year's GCSE students can expect grading to return to normal, which means a pupil who would have achieved a grade 4 (a C grade or standard pass under the old grading system) before the pandemic, is just as likely to achieve that this year.
Our reporter Dominic Blake spoke to pupils Sophia and Samira picking up their results at Lord Nelson School in Portsmouth.
