Science Secretary: ‘[Vapes have] dreadful medical ramifications’
Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, Michelle Donelan, says vapes have “dreadful medical ramifications”, as the number of young people using disposable vapes is growing.
Michelle told Radio 5 Live’s Rachel Burden, “it’s a worrying trend and one of which we need to address”.
When asked what her personal views are on the banning of disposable vapes, Donelan referenced to the lack of evidence to these young people.
“It’s important that when you make any kind of policy that you do call for evidence- that’s the kind of politician I am.”
Officials in Westminster are actively looking for ways to reduce the numbers of people buying and using vapes.
