The devastating impact of coercive control
Domestic Abuse can come in many forms, one being coercive control. It's a type of abuse that's on the up, with nearly 44 thousand offences being recorded last year in England and Wales alone - 7% more than the year before. Presenter Zoe Hardman has been to hear first hand accounts of the devastating impact this kind of abuse has on victims and their loved ones, including one mother who's on a mission to change the law after her daughter took her own life because of her abusive relationship. Plus we'll hear about the help on offer for victims, including funding that can help them leave their abuser.
