Matt Edmonson visits Comic Relief funded project Dad La Soul.
Radio 1's Matt Edmondson has been to find out about Dad La Soul, a project funded by Comic Relief that supports men through parenthood.
Matt shares how adjusting to being a father to two kids has been a struggle, partly due to being diagnosed with cyclothymia, a condition where he goes through varying mood swings. Matt suspects it is a disorder his dad had but was undiagnosed. In 2008 he took his own life. We meet members who have benefitted from the project and why having a safe space to talk is so important.
