From 1948-1971 it's estimated that half a million people migrated to Britain, from the Caribbean, to help rebuild post-war Britain. Known as the Windrush Generation, tomorrow marks 76 years since the start of their arrival.

´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Cornwall’s Anoushka Williams' late father came to the UK in the 50's and despite becoming a successful doctor, faced serious racism. She's meeting some of the people whose families have had similar experiences, including one ballet dancer who was told that her skin was 'too dark' for a part in 'Swan Lake'.

Plus, with Cornwall being one of the least ethnically diverse places in the UK, she'll hear how special organisations are helping to raise awareness of the value of black culture.
