Why e-scooters can be illegal
E-scooters have been causing havoc in towns and cities, not only creating an eyesore but on several occasions causing injuries to members of the public. Now, several Police Forces are cracking down on the illegal use of them. Only if a local council is running an e-scooter trial scheme can the vehicles be used on public roads, otherwise it is breaking the law. Lawyer Denise Nurse shares how you can only ride them if you have a valid driving licence and why parents could face fines and points on their licences if their kids are caught on them.
