'Hello Pervert' emails are a type of 'sextortion' that criminals have been using for years. It involves scammers falsely claiming to have intimate footage in order to pressure you into handing over cash. Often the emails are generic and sent on mass, but recently the scheme has taken a sinister turn- using personal details accompanied by threats of violence and even stalking. Fraud expert, Detective Rebecca Mason exposes these criminal tactics and explains how to avoid them, including why entering competitions online could make you a target.
