Siegfried & Roy's on-stage tiger attack
For nearly 40 years, magicians Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn wowed Las Vegas audiences with their magic shows involving illusions and big cats. However, in 2003, their performance at the Mirage casino went horribly wrong.
A seven-year old tiger called Mantacore attacked Roy live on stage on the night of his 59th birthday, leaving him partially-paralysed. Animal trainer Chris Lawrence, who was backstage, tells Vicky Farncombe how he rushed to save Roy.
