A home burglary can be a devastating crime, and with the winter nights drawing in, it can provide the perfect cover for criminality. Last year there were over 180,000 reported home burglaries in England and Wales.

Former detective, Rebecca Mason, finds out some of the tactics used by these criminals, including posing as delivery drivers to scope out your properties, and how getting parcels delivered to trusted neighbours when you're not home. Plus, she meets reformed criminal Tony, who shares what we can do to better protect our homes.
