Having started performing at an impressively young age, Derry-born teenager Bridie Monds-Watson has garnered widespread acclaim for her poignant songwriting.
Before We Forgot How To Dream is a record that plays on the familiar trope of teenage life with a captivating maturity and sense of wisdom. Monds-Watson's voice throughout is husky and expressive, buoyed by a lush, mostly acoustic soundtrack that complements the ennui of her lyrics. It is a decidely polished debut.
