Born in Siedice, Edyta studied at the Chopin Conservatory of Music, Warsaw and finished her training at the Northwestern University USA where she took an artist diploma.

She then settled in the United States where she has won several prizes and competitions.

Edyta's operatic roles have included Flora La traviata for the Metropolitan Opera (for whom she has also covered several roles), the Santa Fe Opera and the Opera Theatre St Louis and Rosina Il barbiere di Siviglia for Santa Barbara Opera.

Engagements following the 2003 competition included Flower Maiden Parsifal at the Metropolitan Opera, New York and Rose Lakm茅 for the Spoleto Festival USA.

Edyta's many hobbies include hiking, cooking, reading, yoga and listening to all kinds of music.
