Andy Peat trained as a nurse with the Army and left the service two years ago after tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Cheerful and likeable with a rugged Glaswegian sense of humour and the unflappability of an Army medic, he鈥檚 a good nurse, possibly a bit too analytical, which can make him seem detached from the job at times. Andy and Frankie are firm friends both at work and over a pint in the pub at the end of a long day.

Derek starred in the award-winning Channel 4 comedy show, The Book Group and has appeared in many popular and acclaimed series such as No Angels, Bad Sugar, and the global US hit show, Ugly Betty.
