Jameela Jamil is a new addition to the Radio 1 family, joining the network as the presenter of Radio 1鈥檚 Request Show (Sundays, 7-9pm).聽 Every Sunday evening Jameela hands over the musical reigns to the Radio 1 listeners, playing host to their music requests.聽 Whether its hip hop, rock, indie, dance or pop, there is something for everyone, as Jameela brings her edge to the glossy show with lots of gossip, chatter and style!
Best known for being one of T4鈥檚 most popular presenters, Jameela has a wealth of broadcasting experience under her belt. She first started out on the E4 show Music Zone in 2008 and swiftly moved to T4 in 2009. She also co-hosted the TV show Freshly Squeezed with Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw. Other TV credits include presenting music show Koko Pop, a fashion show called The Closet and most recently the reality game show Playing It Straight.
