Shakil is a young Essex lad, full of life, with a big heart. He loves his mum but maintains a much cooler façade in front of his friends. He’s a typical teenager; into girls, hanging out with his mates and ensuring he’s bang on trend with music, clothes and social media. He’s a cheeky, sparky school boy who loves a chat and a bit of banter.
He is the class clown, not educationally intelligent but definitely street smart. Behind his ‘too cool for school’ exterior lies a sensitive boy with a big heart. Shaks is one of the, if not the most, popular boys in school. He’s one of the lads who can have his pick of the girls.
Shakil is an impressionable lad who has recently started to go off the rails. Since his father’s shacked up with his bimbo girlfriend, Shaks has been struggling emotionally – although he’d never admit it. Will Walford help him finally get over his parents separation…possibly with the help of a romance for himself?
