Adam Deacon

Hackney Born actor Adam Deacon - 2012's BAFTA Rising Star winner - is best known for his roles in hard-hitting films Kidulthood and Adulthood but he has also written, starred and directed in the underground smash comedy Anuvahood.

Since his BAFTA win, Adam has been in demand on both sides of the Atlantic and is now being asked to audition for several major Hollywood blockbusters.

But he hasn't forgotten his roots, and has become increasingly outspoken about issues facing urban youth. After a memorable appearance on after last year's riots, Adam was asked to front this documentary .

During the film we learn how Adam feels wary of the police, after his best friend David was beaten, tasered and hospitalised by armed police, following a case of mistaken identity.
