An eagle-eyed theatre critic first spotted her talent as she was treading the boards, aged seven, in a school play and suggested to her parents she consider an acting career.
Her first professional role soon followed in the hit film Mermaids, opposite Cher and Winona Ryder. She went on to win over both critics and audiences playing Wednesday Addams in the Addams family, a role she was to reprise in sequel Addams Family Values.
After winning the prestigious 锘縉ATO ShowEast Star of the Year Award and the Star of Tomorrow Award from the Motion Picture Booker鈥檚 Club for her role in Casper in 1995, Christina made the smooth transition to more mature roles. She was nominated for several awards for her role in The Opposite of Sex, including a Golden Globe and an American Comedy Award, and went on to win a Blockbuster Entertainment Award for her role in Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow, opposite Johnny Depp.
Her TV credits include All McBeal, Grey's Anatomy (for which she received an Emmy nomination) and Saving Grace.
