Melanie Teall
Contemporary Mentor
Melanie trained at Arts Educational School Tring and Central School of Ballet London.
An award winning dancer, she performed for fourteen years with companies including Union Dance, Phoenix Dance Theatre and Rambert Dance Company.
She has also worked as a freelance artist, dancing in the West End, The Place, on film and television and toured the world with Kylie Minogue’s Fever tour. Melanie choreographs and has made work danced by Rambert Dance Company, Scapino Ballet, Rotterdam, Transitions Dance Company and works with the educational departments of English National Ballet, Rambert and Sadler’s Wells Theatre.
In addition to teaching she has been an assessor in contemporary dance for the Royal Ballet Upper School and English National Ballet School.
Melanie was last summer a graduate of the Sadler’s Wells Summer University funded by the Jerwood Charitable Foundation.
