Powell was a lost soul in search of a family, until Don took him into the Murston fold. Since then, he has been fiercely loyal to Don, who now relies on him as his right hand man. Powell inspires fear and respect in equal measure amongst the younger population of Stonemouth, not least Stewart, whose every move he is watching, waiting for him to put a foot wrong.
