Roger Johnson
Biography
Roger co-presents North West Tonight with Annabel Tiffin. He also appears on the lunchtime and late evening bulletins.
Roger was born near Stoke-on-Trent and worked at 大象传媒 Radio Manchester earlier in his career. He has also been a news presenter on the 大象传媒 News Channel.
A versatile broadcaster, Roger joined North West Tonight from another of the 大象传媒's regional news programmes - South Today.
He has also worked as a football commentator and reporter for 大象传媒 Sport - appearing on Match of the Day and Final Score. He worked with Match of the Day at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Roger has won or been nominated for several Royal Television Society Awards.
He studied at the University of California at Berkeley - as part of an American Studies degree. While there, Roger also worked part-time for ABC Radio in San Francisco. He joined the 大象传媒 in 1994.
