Gisela Stuart
Gisela Stuart is hardly your typical Labour MP, known both for her unrelenting support for military intervention in Iraq – she was the only Labour MP to come out for George W. Bush in the 2004 US election - and her desire for the UK to withdraw from the EU, which she credits to her experience helping to re-draft the European Constitution in 2003.
When she won Birmingham Edgbaston in 1997 the constituency had been a Conservative stronghold for over 70 years, and when she retained her seat in the (disastrous for Labour) 2010 general election The Spectator magazine awarded her their Survivor of the Year award.
German-born Gisela has been based since the 1970s in Birmingham, where she brought up two sons, and admits to being ‘arguably an economic migrant’ herself.
After her appearance on Free Speech, will David Cameron want to send her back?
