The elderly, blind Abbot of the Black Friars monastery is, along with Brothers Fuliginous (Don Gilet) and Sable (Abdul Salis), the custodian of a key, the key which will provide the answer to all Richard and Door鈥檚 questions, but which can only be obtained after the completion of a series of challenges.
