Claude Littner
Claude Littner is one of Lord Sugar鈥檚 most trusted and longest serving business colleagues, with a wealth of experience in the business and corporate world. His association with Lord Sugar stretches back over 30 years.
Claude has been involved in the interview stage of The Apprentice since Series 1, and his incisive, no-nonsense approach has made him a fan-favourite. He stepped into the role as one of Lord Sugar’s advisors in Series 11 before taking a brief hiatus in series 16.
Claude is bilingual French/English, having had a French education to Baccalaureate level. He has a B.A and MBA in Business Management and was a Finance Manager at Unilever plc before starting a business and progressing to establishing himself as a corporate turnaround specialist. It was in that capacity that he met Lord Sugar where he served as Chief Executive of Amstrad International, Amstrad Spain, Dancall Telecom and Tottenham Hotspur plc.
Separately, Claude has been Chairman of Les Trois Lords, Azzuri Communications, ASCO the international oilfield support group, deputy Chairman of Blacks Leisure, director of Norton Way Motors and majority shareholder in Powerleague, the 5-a-side football company. In 2014, Claude was appointed visiting Professor of the Claude Littner Business School at the University of West London.
In addition to his ongoing business interests, Claude is a Trustee of Blood Cancer UK and WIZO. He has been married to his wife Thelma since 1976, and they have two sons and five grandchildren.
