Rhimes Lecointe

Rhimes Lecointe is a London based artist, crafting together dance, acting and choreography amongst her many talents. As a performer, Rhimes has played many roles on both stage and screen, including the films ‘Life & Lyrics’ and ‘Street Dance 3D’. She played the lead role of Rap-On-Zel in ZooNation Dance Company's critically acclaimed award-winning West End show ‘Into the Hoods’ from 2006 to 2009. Rhimes also appeared in Boy Blue's Olivier Award winning productions ‘Pied Piper’ and ‘Over the Edge’, both at the Barbican. In 2012 Rhimes and her all-female dance crew Boadicea reached the finals of ‘Got to Dance’ (Sky One). Rhimes and the girls were then invited to perform with Diversity on the arena tour of their show ‘Digitized’, going on to work and perform in ‘Limitless’ and ‘Limitless The Reboot’. Rhimes led a team as a Dance Captain during the 2012 Olympic opening ceremony and has worked with Kenrick Sandy as assistant choreographer on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ (大象传媒). Other TV appearances include: Blue Peter (大象传媒), The Paul O’Grady Show (Channel 4), Graham Norton’s When Will I Be Famous (大象传媒), Comic Relief (大象传媒), Sport Relief (大象传媒) and Diversity's Special (ITV). Her commercial choreographic credits include: Plan B, Esser, Lady Sovereign and The 2Bears. She is also a Choreographer and Artist Developer working with brands (NIKE, Urban Decay, Adidas, Hot Point, Mazda), bands and individual artists. In the world of fashion, Rhimes has worked with and modeled for L’Oreal London, Urban Decay, Afro Hair & Beauty and choreographed for The London Victoria and Albert Museum Fashion Show. Rhimes is trained in, and particularly passionate about all elements of Hip Hop, street dance, Freestyle, Waackin and House. Now with her Boadicea Company she is striving to encourage Ladies of all ages reach their full potential, not only as performers but also as people.
