Coronavirus: Saudi Arabia bars pilgrims

Saudi authorities close Mecca to foreign pilgrims as virus cases spread.

Saudi Arabia is suspending entry for foreign pilgrims to Mecca and Medina, as a precaution against the spread of the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases in Italy has jumped to 400, amid international efforts to contain the spread of the deadly outbreak.
