Iran accuses the west of lying about the cause of the Ukrainian airliner crash

The head of Iran's civil aviation authority denied that Iranian missiles were used.

Iran has accused the United States and its allies of lying about the cause of the Ukrainian airliner crash near Tehran on Wednesday. The US has suggested the plane was shot down by Iran. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, said the possibility that the plane was hit by a missile had neither been ruled out, nor confirmed.

Also on the programme, how will Hezbollah in Lebanon, an organisation funded by Tehran, respond to the killing of Qasem Soleimani? We hear from a former government advisor. And as protests about the government's handling of the bushfires take place all over Australia, we hear from one of the worst affected areas.
