LA residents ordered to stay at home
Los Angeles Mayor, Eric Garcetti, has issued an order for residents to stay at home, warning that the city is approaching a 鈥渄evastating tipping point鈥 in its fight against coronavirus. In India, farmers are protesting against new agricultural laws which they say will benefit only big private agribusiness. And staying in India, we hear why Ranjitsinh Disale, the winner of the Global Teacher Prize has donated half of his winnings to the other shortlisted candidates. Plus, the Chinese President, Xi Jinping, has launched a campaign targeting an unlikely enemy - food waste, via the Clean Plate Campaign, as we hear from the 大象传媒's Ivana Davidovic.
