Fixit Kid听were in session on Huw's show live from Maida Vale.
This is Fixit Kid's second session for Radio 1, they were last at Maida Vale for the mighty John Peel back in 2002.
Fixit Kid are Derbys own Alex Grant - Drums, Jay Dean - Guitars/Vocals and Mat Davies - Vocals/Bass.
They started their own label Fight Me Records听back in 2004 and since then have released the two Fixit Kid albums (The Gracious Art of Breaking Limbs and The Easy Way Out) the new Fixit Kid 7inch Whiskey Pit, as well the debut albums of new bands You Judas and The Swarm.

Fixit Kid feature on a Cable tribute album, out in September on Signiture Tune, other bands on the album include Hundred Reasons, Forward Russia, Knives, Get Cape... and High Tech Jet.
