British Grand Prix 2008 raised: £100,000


Life in the fast lane with Formula 1!

There are few sporting events in the UK that match the intensity, glamour and atmosphere of Formula 1.

We're offering you and a friendÌýtwo, day V.I.P. passes to the 2008 Formula 1 Santander British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

You'll get access to the driver's paddock on both days. And on Saturday 5 July you'll meet, and have a photograph taken with, the F1 driver of your choice. It's a great opportunity to get a few autographs too!

Next it's lunch withÌýyour favouriteÌýFormula 1 teamÌýthe team hospitality area.

Plus you'll get to meet the boss – "F1 supremo" Bernie Ecclestone.

Then on Sunday you'll watch the biggest motor racing event in the sporting calendar.

On The Buses with Jonathan Ross & Ken Bruce raised: £15,000


All aboard for a magical mystery tour!


You and a guest will go on location with Jonathan Ross and his Radio 2 show team for a live outside broadcast from Wakefield Bus Depot on Saturday 24 November.

You'll see behind the scenes of the show and meet Jonathan's guests - Athlete will be playing live, and Alan Carr will be providing the laughs.

You'll also have lunch with National Bus Driver of the Year Paul Cleaver and take home a very special one-off chair made from old Yorkshire bus material!

Then next year, at a date to be arranged, you and nine friends will join Ken Bruce, Alan Dedicoat and Charles Nove for a personalised sightseeing trip around London on board their famous routemaster bus.

After a morning of taking in the sights you will stop off for a leisurely lunch onboard HMS Belfast.

And you’ll finish the trip in style, sipping champagne in your own personal capsule on the British Airways London Eye.

Please note: Hotel accommodation in Leeds is included for Jonathan's OB but you’ll need to get yourself to and from Wakefield and London.

Hit all the right notes with this unique 'lot'!

You could be the proud owner of a uniquely hand-painted "baby" Taylor guitar, donated by Beth Nielson Chapman.

The front of Beth’s "Star Guitar" is signed by Wake Up To Wogan favourites Dolly Parton, James Taylor, Jack Johnson, Art Garfunkel, Katie Melua, Nanci Griffith, John Fogerty (Creedence Clearwater Revival), Donald Fagen and Walter Becker (Steely Dan).

Autographs on the back include: Michael McDonald, B. J. Thomas ('Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head'), legendary guitarist James Burton (who played with Elvis, Ricky Nelson and Emmylou Harris), John Kay (Steppenwolf), country star Tanya Tucker, and Delbert McLinton (the man who taught John Lennon to play harmonica).

The guitar comes in a case with three unique colour photos of Dolly Parton, Nanci Griffith and Beth Nielsen Chapman herself, all holding the guitar, plus fifteen CDs featuring some of the artists.

Set sail with Marco Pierre White raised £30,000


Put the wind in your sails on a luxurious 12-day cruise!

You and a lucky partner will attend the exclusive naming ceremony of P&O’s new cruise liner, the Ventura, on WednesdayÌý16 April in Southampton.

This VIP event will be followed by a star-studded gala dinner and overnight stay on the ship.

Later in the year, you and a guest will take to the Mediterranean seas for a 12 night cruise on the Ventura’s maiden voyage.

From the private balcony of your ocean view cabin you will call at Madeira, La Palma, Tenerife and Gran Canaria among others.

While on board you will dine at Marco Pierre White’s latest restaurant, where you will sample three courses of haute cuisine in the company of Marco himself.

The lucky bidder will also get to take away a signed copy of Marco’s latest book to recreate his dishes back home.
