Hollywood
John Wilson talks to American film critic David Thompson, about the History of Hollywood as told in his new book The Whole Equation which is published by Little Brown.

Royal Academy
There's a special report into the politics of Royal Academy of the Arts - started in the eighteenth century by Joshua Reynolds, and still home to blockbuster exhibitions from Monet to Sensation, the Pre- Raphaelites to the current Turks. New president, the architect Nicholas Grimshaw and exhibitions secretary Norman Rosenthal talk about the future of the institution that is now mired in financial problems despite packing in the punters.

"You're Fired"
Paul Mason, Newnight's Business Correspondent reviews The Apprentice, the UK version of the American reality show which made a television star of tycoon Donald Trump, and made You're Fired a national catchphrase. In this country, Donald Trump is replaced by British tycoon Alan Sugar, who'll be judging how well fourteen budding entrepreneurs perform the weekly business challenge.

starts tonight on 大象传媒 Two and continues on Wednesdays at 9pm.
