had it not been for the british there would not have india as it is today. there would have been small states ruled by maharajas something like europe in the past

barun patra
The colonisation of India by the Brits was one of the biggest chapters in history. India and England wouldn't be what they are had this not occured. But all this needs meticulous research and hindsight.

Govind
The history should be based on facts - not selective amnesia about the horrible deeds that Britan inflicted on the colonies. Considered overall, the sins outweigh any perceived "benefits" by a huge margin. Looking forward to this series..

Anil Kapuria
About 30 years ago when I was student at University of Birmingham, I had watched the Empire series then, and always had felt the story of Empire Builders, such as this would be more fascinating and intriguing. I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Mani Balan
History about Britain's Empire In Indian subcontinent is interesting, you are doing an exellent job.

Manish
Of course if it was not for the Empire, britain would not be what it is today. Oh...but yes the greater question is...Is britain really better off today than it was 400 years ago? What would have happened if britain did not made the colonies and fought for it destiny on its own?
