Jackie Kay Wednesday 23 January 2002
Jackie Kay came to prominence in 1998 with her first novel Trumpet which won the Guardian Fiction Prize.

She has now ventured into short story writing with Why Don't You Stop Talking. Her themes are love, loneliness and obsession and are nearly all based around the routines of everyday life.
She joins Jenni to explain why she's thinks short stories are the most challenging and satisfying medium of all.
Jackie Kay, Why Don't You Stop Talking, Picador; ISBN: 0330373331, 拢15.99
