The Conservative party is now greatly exercised over the question of female candidates. Out of 60 target seats so far, only nine are women.
So Teresa May, the party chairman has brought in an occupational psychologist to improve the selection process. Jo Silvester has given Woman's Hour, and Martha, her first interview.
